Meet Meena or "Minnie". This young girl is about a year old and weighs 22 pounds. She is some sort of small mix of breeds likely Dachshund and Chihuahua, maybe something else! She was an owner surrender after having been passed around from home to home.

Meena has a shy personality and takes a bit of time to adjust before her sparkly personality emerges. This is a big reason why she struggled being moved from family to family. Once she has time to adjust and acclimate, she is fantastic. She loves to cuddle on the couch, sleep in bed with her person, and lives for fetch. She also loves to carry her favorite toy around in her mouth.

Meena does well with other dogs, especially ones more her size. She also likes cats. Meena would be fine around children who understand to go slow with her shyness. Infants and toddlers would likely be too overwhelming for her. Meena is crate trained and doing very well with housetraining. She does best in a fenced yard. Meena is unofficially on the shoe company's payroll testing shoe's durability against puppy chewing. She is a shoe girl. You have been warned!
