Apple is looking for a forever home. She is 5 months old, born in March, and weighs just over 40 pounds. She is a mix of shepherd and pit. Her mom was recently posted, Costa. This picture of Apple was taken at Pooch Plunge. Towards the end of the night, she was exhausted from running around the pool and playing with friends, so she sat by the water spray fountain and willed the humans passing to press the button so she could pounce at the water. She was successful and about everyone walking by would stop and play with her for a bit.
Apple thrives in a home with a dog buddy and has turned into one of the nicest foster pups. She is very crate trained and house trained. She will occasionally take off with a toliet paper roll to shred but for the most part, her puppy antics are pretty minimal. She is a good car rider and has done amazing at several community events we have been involved in lately including hanging out at the Old Settler's Festival in Delphi and spending 2 whole nights. at the Pooch Plunge. She is fairly quiet and will only bark a bit when she's excited to see her people arriving home. Apple would be good with children. Apple is not good with cats.
Apple would make an excellent candidate for Doggy Daycare, the Dog Park, or an active person that wants to take their dog into the community. Apple is pretty darn amazing for a baby!
